Getting started

  1. Create a notification in the app dashboard — add a title, message, optional image/video, product card, or discount code, and choose a layout. A live preview shows exactly what shoppers will see.
  2. Turn the bell on in your theme editor: open App embeds and switch on Notification Bell, or drag the Notification Bell block into your header or any section. No code needed.
  3. Visit your storefront — the bell appears with a badge; opening it shows your notifications.

Frequently asked questions

Why isn't my notification showing?

Check that it is published, within its go-live/expiry window, and that any targeting rules (audience, landing page, country) match how you're viewing the store. The bell also caches for about a minute, so give a new notification a moment to appear.

Where do uploaded images live?

In your own store's Files (Content → Files). You can upload new media or pick existing files from the media picker in the composer.

How does scheduling work?

Each notification can have an optional go-live time and an optional expiry. Off by default — a published notification shows immediately and stays until you unpublish it. You can also show a live countdown to the expiry time.

How does targeting work?

Show a notification to everyone, only guests, or only logged-in customers; restrict it by country; or only show it to visitors whose landing page (path or UTM parameters) matches text you specify.

Do discount codes work automatically?

The notification shows a tap-to-copy code chip. Create the actual discount under Discounts in your Shopify admin so it applies at checkout.

What do the stats mean?

The Stats page shows impressions, panel opens, clicks, and click-through rate per notification, with date ranges and period-over-period comparison. Counts are anonymous — no personal visitor data is collected.

Billing & free trial

The app includes a 14-day free trial. After that it's a single simple monthly plan. Manage or cancel anytime from your Shopify admin → Settings → Apps.

What happens if I uninstall?

Your notifications stop showing immediately, and all your data is permanently deleted within 48 hours, in line with our privacy policy.
